On 15 June 2016, our law firm had the pleasure to attend a conference on Innovative Municipality co-organized by The Warsaw Voice. The subjects of the conference included: alternative possibilities for financing of infrastructure projects using new technologies, the prospects for the development of public-private partnership in Poland and the impact of the amendment to the Public Procurement Law on social and environmental matters.

The law firm was represented at the conference by Marian Mazurek, attorney-at-law and the managing partner. The purpose of the presentation was to outline the possibilities created by investments in renewable energy sources implemented by local authorities, with the support of EU funds. A project involving the construction of photovoltaic micro-installations on the roofs of public utility buildings was presented as an example. Our team has the pleasure to advise on the implementation of this project.

At the conference, Mr Mazurek also participated in a panel discussion on the costs and benefits of revitalization.
