Meeting of the Platform for the European Funds

Strategy for Responsible Development in the context of its impact on the spending of European funds and Database Development Services were on the agenda of the meeting of the European Funds Platform, which was held on 29 November 2016, at the headquarters of the Employers of Poland. Law Firm M. Mazurek and Partners was represented by Dr. Jakub Pawelec LL. M.

The meeting was opened by Mr. Rafal Baniak, Executive Vice President of Employers of Poland. The first part of the meeting was hosted by Mrs. Konstancja Piątkowska, Deputy Director of the Department of Development Strategy of the Ministry of Development. The presentation displayed the directions of interventions in the field of efficient use of EU funds. Director Piątkowska emphasized the need for efficient use of EU funds and a gradual shift to a more independent from policy development.

In turn, Mr. Rafal Kaminski, Deputy Director of the Department of Development Services in the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development presented a comprehensive foundation Database Development Services (BUR). Starting Database Development Services is a part of the commitment of the Polish side in the framework signed on 23 May 2014 – Partnership Agreement on programming financial perspective for 2014-2020. According to this agreement base is the central element of the national system of quality assurance and development services.

In conclusion of the meeting, Mrs. Ewa Płodzień-Pałasz, Deputy Director of the Department of European Funds of the Employers of Poland presented the major projects implemented by the organization. Currently Employers of Poland implement a training project in the field of public-private partnership aimed to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises ( "PPP for MSMEs"). Its goal is to build a competitive advantage in the market through an increase in staff competence in the field of PPP.
