The Law Firm's Litigation Team led by Attorney Magdalena Mazurek-Szkałuba has completed the almost 2-year long inheritance cases of Danish citizens in Poland. Legal advice was provided in cooperation with Attorney Bent-Ove Feldung (H), a Partner from the Danish law firm Homann, Amagertorv 11, 1160 København K (https://homannlaw.dk/). Both law firms belong to JCA International. Legal assistance consisted in comprehensive settlement of matters of Danish citizens in Poland by conducting court proceedings regarding the acquisition of inheritance, its division and regulation of legal consequences (tax aspects, change of property owners in the land and mortgage register, land register and sale of inheritance property, including real estate in Poland) . The cooperation took place remotely without the need for Danish citizens to come to Poland. The introduced provisions on the possibility of conducting hearings using means of remote communication, the favorable attitude of Polish offices as to the coordination of inheritance cases of citizens of other countries, greatly facilitated legal support for Danish citizens.
